I quote from today's article of origo news site (quoting CNN's site):
...David Brenner, director of the Center for Radiological Research at Columbia University. The expert said "It's pretty clear" that the workmen sent to the nuclear plant "will be getting very high doses of radiation. There's certainly the potential for lethal doses of radiation. They know it, and I think you have to call these people heroes."
I also think they are heroes, they know what depends on them, the avoidance of a greater nuclear disaster, but they also know that they are risking their own lives. I greatly respect them. Let us pray that they will accomplish their task as soon as possible. Of course in the meantime we are seeking the ways, wisdom and revelations of the Lord, but we also need to know His mercy. Let us intercede for the inhabitants of Japan, that they will repent from the idol cults and more and more of them will recognise the only true God and His Son Jesus Christ. A few months ago at "Imádat Sátor" ("Worship Tabernacle") meetings we got powerful direction from the Lord (click on the link to read it in Hungarian) to pray for countries in the far east, because the Lord wants to have a mighty catch of the fish there! Let this series of events turn to this direction, and that is why they have to hear the Gospel, and call upon the only name, Jesus, that is given under heaven for us to be saved (Acts 4:12). Let us pray for a great harvest in Japan, but even beyond it, all the other countries in the far east - China, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.
I believe that there are and will be other heroes in Japan, who will risk their own lives and convenience for the Gospel. Let us pray and ask the Heavenly Father, the Lord of Harvest, to send workers to His harvest in Japan! And let us pray for the success of ther work, too, and also for the whole Japanese nation!
